Back to Folsom Lake state park!
We really love this place, not only is it close but the beauty never fails to impress. Today included a picnic overlooking the water and the start of a huge new adventure.

Or, a good one. So hot, nearly 100 degrees out when we ventured back to Folsom State Park for a hike with gear!
Do you like purple?
This was my first real attempt at a hike, it was pretty hot out and we braved the crowds of people looking for lupin and man was it worth it!
It has been many years since I was last in the mountains, and what a tragedy that is! The crisp and clean air is amazing and my body was happy to walk around, albeit very slowly.
